She completed a research project on social entrepreneurship for migrants
Maristella Cacciapaglia holds a Ph.D. in Law, Cultures, and Economics of the Mediterranean Region (2022), with a dissertation in Economic Sociology. She is a researcher at the Department of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Milan. Her current research interests include irregular immigration and eco-social policies. She has worked for NGOs, enterprises, and research centers in Europe, the USA, and India on projects addressed to vulnerable people and places. Recently, she completed a research project on social entrepreneurship for migrants, funded by the Italian Ministry of the Interior (FAMI SO.MI.C.I.S.).
