Delphine Boagey
ROLE IN THE PROJECT:
Delphine is involved in WP8 (Stakeholder network and dissemination).
Delphine is the communications officer at the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS), University Oxford, and also provides communications support for the Global Exchange on Migration and Diversity and the Migration Observatory. Delphine is the former co-Secretary for the Oxford Migration Studies Society, organizing the international Oxford Annual Migration Conference for 2022. Delphine completed her MSc in Migration Studies at the University of Oxford (2021-22) with the Oxford Department of International Development and the School of Anthropology. Her dissertation examined soundscapes within the British Indian diaspora and the sensory experience of music for female diasporic students in the UK. She completed her BA in Music at the University of Bristol, supervised by Dr Florian Scheding, where she explored music’s mediation of the Black diasporic experience for and from queer African American identities. Research interests include transnationalism, diaspora studies, anthropology of the senses, homemaking; gender and postcolonial studies; music and migration.
