Benjamin Hix (Former MIrreM Researcher)

ROLE IN THE PROJECT:
Benjamin is a research intern contributing to WP2 (Irregular Migration Data Needs and Usage: Monitoring, Scoping, Assessing Policy Effects and Effectiveness)
Benjamin Ginsburg Hix is a research intern at the Fondation Migration Policy Institute Europe. He has recently completed a Master’s degree in Political Science and Political Economy at the London School of Economics and Political Science and holds a BA in Economics and Sociology from Science Po Paris. Benjamin has conducted empirical research on the effect of disastrous events on attitudes towards immigration and redistribution. He also has experience in bi-partisan immigration policy and advocacy from his time with the National Immigration Forum in Washington, DC. His broad research interests include integration, refugee resettlement, housing and health discrimination and irregular migration data.
